SoloStudio is me, Denis Gherstoga. I help organisations see how their work actually works — and make it better. Nine years of founding and running a production company, then a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management (Uppsala University) specialised in quality engineering — practice first, then the theory to sharpen it. I won't claim to have seen everything — instead, here's the knowledge I bring and the work that backs it up.
I work with small and mid-sized organisations — manufacturers, workshops, labs and service businesses — that sense their operations could run better, but don't have a quality department to dig into it. You work directly with me — in English or Swedish, on site or remote.
Process improvement & measurement
Map how work actually flows, find where it leaks, and back decisions with data — Lean, Six Sigma and statistical process control. I've done exactly this at Volvo Cars Body Components: traced why a measurement process produced data nobody used, and what to do about it.
Change management, leadership & organisational development
New ways of working often die in the gap between decision and daily routine. I can help with planning, buy-in and follow-up so the change sticks after the project ends.
Sustainability
Bring environmental thinking into the same toolbox: CSR, life cycle analysis and process improvement for sustainable development — measurable, not just a page in the annual report.

Measuring Smarter, Not More
Degree project with Mark Kurchyn at Volvo Cars Body Components: how measurement decisions are really made in serial production — and why the formal rules had quietly stopped being followed. Findings were presented to plant management. Read the thesis in DiVA (PDF).
Usability evaluation, CE-marked product
As a subconsultant to Camneteq AB: a formative and summative usability evaluation per IEC 62366-1 — plan, protocol, moderated tests with eight users, final report for the technical file.
